Why Veneers

Your smile is the first thing the world sees, and it shapes every moment that follows.

Friends, family, your career, your passions, and ultimately yourself. For many, this is the pivotal moment where they stop holding back and start showing up fully.

0 1

Permanence

A smile that ages with you. Decades of confidence in every photo, toast, and first impression.

0 2

Presence

The first thing people notice. The last thing they forget. Show up differently in every room you enter.

0 3

Precision

Designed for your face, not a template. Shade, shape, and contour built around the way you actually look.

In Their Words

Don’t take our word for it. Take theirs.

No scripts. No actors. Patients who sat in the chair.

The Process

Three visits. Here’s exactly what happens.

Most people stall because they don’t know what they’re signing up for. So here it is, start to finish.

  1. 01

    Visit One

    You talk, we listen

In person or virtual. We ask what you want changed — no exam pressure, no pitch.

  2. 02

    Visit Two

    See it before it exists

We scan your teeth and design your smile on screen. Nothing is prepped until you approve it.

  3. 03

    Weeks 2–4

    Prep and temporaries

Conservative prep, then provisional veneers you wear while our ceramist builds the finals.

  4. 04

    Delivery

    Placement

Final veneers seated, adjusted, polished. You leave when it's right.

  5. 05

    Ongoing

    Protecting it

Follow-ups, a night guard if you grind, and a maintenance plan.

The Practice

30 years of doing one thing properly.

You’ll meet your doctor at the consult. She’ll do the prep. She’ll place the final veneers. Same person, start to finish. That is less common than it should be.

I have worked as a dental assistant for many years so I have very high expectations. I can say that they were exceeded in all aspects.

The Experience

If the dentist is why you’ve put this off, read this part.

01

It doesn't feel like a dental office

Bellaire location, built to feel like somewhere you'd actually sit down. The appointment ends up being the easiest part of the day. Patients say this unprompted, constantly.

02

The comfort menu

Heated massage chairs. NuCalm. Aromatherapy. Warm lavender towels. Blankets. Noise-canceling headphones. Netflix. Fresh cookies. Pick what you want.

03

You see it before we do anything

Trios scanning and smile-design software. Your new smile on screen, adjusted chairside until it looks like it belongs on your face. Then we start.

04

Sedation if you want it

Nitrous, oral, and IV sedation are all available. Plenty of patients who were certain they'd need it end up not using it. Either way, it's there.

They do everything they can to make sure you're comfortable and enjoying your visit. Music, blankets, tv, warm towels!

Consultations are limited

Book the consult. Decide after.

You’re not committing to treatment by filling this out. You’re booking a conversation. Here’s what happens next, in order.

  1. 1

Your request goes to a person

Straight to our treatment coordinator. Not a call center, not an auto-responder.

  2. 2

We call within one business day

We find a time that works. That's the whole call.

  3. 3

    You leave the consult knowing

Digital preview of your smile, your options, your timeline, your number. Then you decide. Not before.

I have never in my life received the level of compassion, understanding, and completely non-judgmental care that I received at The Houston Dentists.

She replaced my old veneers with new ones, and now my teeth look natural and better than I imagined.

I have an extreme phobia of the dentist, and Dr. Frazar and her team make the whole experience relaxing and comfortable. They have sedation options and the office is like a spa!
Britt W.
Hands down the BEST dental experience I've ever had. From the moment I walk in, my dentist and her entire team make me feel genuinely cared for.

I had such a relaxing experience today. I am aware of how weird that sounds since it's the dentist, but seriously. The staff is incredible and they clearly want the best for you.

My wife and I have been going to Dr Frazar for 18 years. The care is the best. They are never in a rush; always having time to explain things and answer questions.

From the entrance of the building to every spot of this clinic, all you feel is luxury and comfort.

Questions

The questions you’d ask if we were sitting down.

What's this going to cost me?

Depends on how many teeth and how complex the case is, so a number on a website would be a number that doesn't apply to you. You get the full figure in writing at your consult, after the exam and design. CareCredit and Cherry are both available if you'd rather pay monthly.

Why here instead of the place down the street?

30 years on cosmetic work and 6,000+ smiles. Digital smile design, an in-house 3D printer, and a master ceramist. And the same doctor from your consult through final placement, which is not how most offices run it.

Does it hurt?

Less than you're expecting. Prep is conservative and minimally invasive. Nitrous, oral, and IV sedation are all on the table if you want them.

How long am I in this for?

Two to three visits over several weeks. Consult and design, then prep with temporaries, then placement. You're not in a chair for months.

What if I hate how they look?

You approve the design before anything gets prepped, and you wear provisional veneers before the final porcelain is made. There are two checkpoints to change course. That's deliberate.

How long do they last?

Well over a decade with reasonable care. We do follow-ups, make a night guard if you grind, and give you a maintenance plan. Protecting the work is part of the work.

I'm not in Bellaire. Worth the drive?

Patients come from across greater Houston — Rice Village, West U, the Heights, Memorial — and some travel in from out of state. Three visits is three drives.
